Injuries
Knee Injuries Interventions
Knee injuries can happen suddenly, as in a fall, or from wear and tear from everyday movement and activity. When an injury occurs, the knee’s ability to function is disrupted, impacting the intricate workings of bones, muscles, ligaments and other structures. Treatments for knee problems range from physical therapy to medications to surgery.
Arthroscopy
Arthroscopic Knee Surgery
Arthroscopic Surgery is a procedure that allows the surgeon to see, diagnose, and treat problems inside a joint. The procedure, also called an Arthroscopy, requires only small incisions and is guided by a miniature viewing instrument or scope. Before arthroscopy existed, surgeons made large incisions that affected the surrounding joint structures and tissues.
Replacement
Knee Replacement Surgery
Knee replacement is a surgical procedure to reconstruct a knee affected by arthritis or severe knee injury. The knee joints are capped by metal and plastic parts. We assess your knee motion, strength, and the extent of damage through x-ray and determine the need for surgery.
